The Parsley Pot is a family owned garden café tucked away near Matakana, just North of Auckland. Serving a variety of fresh, homemade goodies to enjoy with their organic Kōkako Coffee. We were very impressed with the food we had and the beautiful seating. Within seconds from sitting down we realised we might need to order from the counter. The lady gave three menus and explained each colour. We ordered the food and paid at the counter. The food came in good time, buy they forgot the coffee and owned up to the mistake and brought piping hot delicious coffee within minutes. Carrot cake is my favourite, but this was a little bit disappointing. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't as good. It needed more icing, and something to make it less dry, because the cream wasn't enough to save it. Overall a lovely morning.

Was absolutely beautiful, quaint and character filled. Staff were delightful even though they were short staffed and had some cabinet issues everything was pulled together perfectly by their teamwork! Highly recommend! Dog friendly and beautiful artwork.
Once again a perfect meal all round our table! I always enjoy the dish of my dreams at this awesome cafe - lambs-fry - the very best in NZ - a secret recipe that makes your taste buds groan with delight! My wife enjoyed her favourite corn fritters and my son enjoyed a delicious special Hungarian Goulash. Coffees were outstanding too! Thanks Team :) See you again soon
Mince on Toast I have seen this on the menu at loads of cafes throughout the North and South Island and thought I couldn’t leave the country without trying what must be an unofficial national dish. It is always served with an egg on top. A fellow customer told me that the best Mince on Toast was created here. So we returned to try it out. We are so glad we did it was delicious, beautifully presented and so tasty I just managed to stop short of licking the bowl my manners kicked in The portions were a good size too! The cafe is lovely you can sit inside or in the garden and most of the customers seemed to be locals. The staff and chef are very friendly and even remembered us on our return. Thank you for a wonderful experience
Hidden little gem! Great place for your coffee or lunch. I had the eggs Benedict with bacon. 4/5 stars because the hollandaise sauce was quite thick and didn’t meet my expectations (i guess that’s personal). Nevertheless highly recommend a stop here!
Phenomenal brunch! The Spanish mushrooms were devine and I would highly recommend these if you see them on the specials menu. My friend had the half eggs bene and said it was one of the best he's ever had. Service was great, super friendly staff. Highly recommend.
